In 1970, Dr. H.T. Hughes designed coins commemorating the 75th anniversary of the birth of chiropractic (September 18, 1895). These medallions were struck by the Lincoln Mint in limited-edition coins containing one troy ounce of .999-pure silver. They also minted a coin medal in cupro-nickel.
